This is a story that will take you back to the days of the big paddle boats on The Murray River when times were tough and woman pretty much did what they were told but let us meet Georgina Calthorpe this feisty woman wanted more than being told what she should do and where she should go and stood up for herself and I loved her what a heroine and the perfect hero for her, arrogant and determined but caring Dane MacHenry I highly recommend that you sit back and enjoy this story.

Georgie has had enough of being told what to do and when, her life is turned upside down with the foster family she has been living with and the prodigal son returns home Georgie decides that it is time to take off and meet up with Conor Foley and start a new life he has offered her marriage. But when that prodigal son Dane comes after her life changes again.

Dane comes home to Jacaranda to disaster his property has been gambled away and there are many changes after listening to his father he takes off after their foster daughter Georgie and when he catches her and his horse there is a spark that shocks Dane, but with bushrangers after them he loses her to another man.

This is a fast paced story that will have you turning the pages Georgie marries a man who has lots of secrets a man who is determined to rule her life, and Dane gets on with doing what he can to save his property and trying to forget Georgie a very hard task but as life has a way a turning the tables so it does and you are going to want to read this one to see what happens. What a story it has everything ups and downs, tragedies, secrets but above all true love prevails and you will be smiling. There are many emotions throughout this story and the call of that river is so strong for Georgie. Thank you MS Darry for a fabulous story.
