This is a fabulous story it has everything that a romance reader looks for, a little suspense uncovering secrets that had been kept for many years and a gorgeous second chance romance that had me cheering Nina and Logan on, it is moving and emotional and the setting is wonderful, it was really hard to put this one down once I had started it.
Nina Jones grew up on Riverstone Ridge a farm just outside of the small north Queensland town of Huntingvale, she knew she was adopted and loved her Aunty Bea the woman that had bought her up, but at the age of seventeen her life changed and Nina ran to start a new life with secrets held tight, now twenty years later the passing of her beloved Bea has bought her home and Bea has left a weekly letter over four weeks to help her decide which direction her future should take, there is a lot to take in and there is also her neighbour Logan the other person who had her heart.
Logan Steele always had feelings for Nina but he went to university and Nina to Brisbane for twenty years, Logan became a police officer and moved back to Huntingvale married and managed to keep going through a tragedy, but when Nina returns to Riverstone Ridge his heart soars and finally he can look to the future that is if Nina can open up with what she has learnt about the past and open up her heart to love.
This is a fast paced story that is beautifully written, I loved Logan and Nina what these two had gone through must have hurt badly but the strength they show had me smiling, there were tears and smiles throughout this story, the emotions flowing from the pages as MS Magro bought the characters to life. This is one that I highly recommend, it will stay with me for a long time to come, thank you.
