This is a very well written heart- warming debut story, set in a small town it sees two people both terribly hurt by their partners find love again and join two families to become one big one. There are a lot of characters in the story adults and children and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Lindy is devastated when she is sent a package in regards to her husband of twenty six years, although they had seemed to have been drifting apart, this was a big shock, Lindy needs to get away and find herself again and Chester’s Run a place she visited with her family as a young girl is calling to her. It is not long before Lindy is feeling better and has made a friend and then meets a family at church, could this be just what Lindy needs?
Jack has grown up in Chester’s Run he now looks after the family farm he is married and has five children but his wife has caused a lot of problems over the last few years and has now left the family home and Jack is determined to get his young family back on track to a happy place. When he meets Lindy in church and she offers to help with the children he is happy to say yes as he feels a pull with this woman.
It is not long before Jack and Lindy are feeling more than a friendship and Jack’s children and loving Lindy and the help she has given to bring their family together, but Lindy is still missing her three adult children who have not been in contact. Jack is soon on the case and before long there is a very happy full family reunion. This is an emotional story and there were tears and happy tears as well. MS Rosario has created a great town and characters that are easy to make friends with, there are lots of emotions and it is the start of a series so more to come. I do recommend this one.
